Qualified Investor Visa
The qualified investor visa grants permanent residency for the applicant who invests in Panama. Applications are generally reviewed within 30 days and the investor can become a permanent resident if approved.
Requirements:
Invest $300,000 (Increases to $500,000 in October 2024) in real estate or invest $750,000 as a fixed term bank deposit
Valid passport and 5 additional photos
Authenticated copy of the passport
Clear criminal background certificate - apostilled
Personal background declaration
Certificate of good health
Payment of $5000 for immigration + $1000 per dependent
Payment of $5000 for treasury + $1000 per dependent
Certified bank letter stating funds received and sent
Authenticated bank statements showing funds transaction
Certified bank letter or notarized letter from receiver confirming funds received
Property purchase contract for real estate investment
Dependents must include:
Letter of responsibility
Proof of relationship (birth / marriage certificates)
Proof of address showing same address
Children 18 or older must show proof of studies in Panama and single status
Adults (spouse / parents) must also include police clearance certificates
Spouse must include marriage certificate
The process:
Fastest permanent residency - Applications are generally reviewed within only 30 days and if approved, the applicant is a permanent resident.
The applicant must submit proof of investment annually to show the investment is still valid.
The cost:
Please note that our flat rate costs for visas are structured according to average procedures provided that the client has supplied the normal amount and type of documents with the correct apostille authentication where required. In any event where the client has not acquired the correct apostille or has any supporting documentation outside of the normal process that requires translation, notary and/or authentication services, these costs may be invoiced separately as additional procedures need to be carried out that falls outside of the standard process. We ask all clients to please confirm documents and procedures with us.
