Merilana offers an inviting and relaxed atmosphere where you can sit and enjoy a delicious cup of coffee, a light snack or sweet treat.  Featuring air-conditioning, free Wi-Fi, books, games and relaxing music. Find us on the top floor of Coronado Mall next to the food court area.

Merilana coffee & snacks 

Merilana offers a variety of drinks, light snacks and desserts that include a unique range of specialty grade coffee, exclusively available from Merilana in the Panama Oeste province. Other drinks include tea, frappe, hot chocolate, juice, soda and water.

Snacks include croissants, empanadas, waffles, eggs, sandwiches, banana bread, gingerbread, French toast, sausages & more. 

We are quite popular for our desserts that include cheesecake, chocolate cake, carrot cake, tiramisu, mille-feuille (custard slices), malva pudding, lemon tart, milk tart, Cremora tart, flan, biscuits and others. We do offer a selection of homemade desserts with other options from various Panama suppliers. 


Apart from delicious drinks and snacks, Merilana offers a relaxed atmosphere with free WiFi, air-conditioning and soft music. There is seating in store for 16 customers with an additional exterior table for 2. Additionally, there is a private conference room that can be used by larger groups up to 16 people that is perfect for business meetings, group get-togethers, classes & courses etc. We are not the biggest coffee shop, but our focus is more orientated towards quality rather than quantity.  We strive to deliver good and friendly customer service with fresh quality drinks and foods in a clean and hygienic environment.

  • Merilana is a registered and licensed coffee shop business in Panama and operates under Panama laws.

  • All prices are in US Dollar / Panama Balboa (equal currency) 

  • All employees have completed their health checks required by law and are in possession of their health cards which is displayed in our shop.

  • All certifications and approvals have been completed and is up to standard including fumigation which is displayed in our shop. 

  • Merilana offers a range of specialty grade coffee with a cupping score of 85% offering a rich and flavorful cup of coffee. 100% Panameño. Farmed in the mountains of Veraguas.

  • PLEASE NOTE that our products are made with certain ingredients that may cause allergic reactions or might not meet special dietary needs - This includes full cream milk and fresh natural milk, eggs, sugar, flour, wheat, nuts, gluten, chocolate etc. Please ask in advance if you have any health requirements.  We will not be held responsible for any medical expenses associated with any health conditions or allergic reactions. 

  • We do offer a selection of alternative milks for coffee and tea that include lactose free milk, almond milk, oats milk, soy etc. Please ask in store. 

  • We offer various reading books. All books are the property of the company. Please do not remove any books from the premises.

  • Our shop is under 24-hour video surveillance 

  • We accept card payments (visa/mastercard) 

  • Trading hours from Tuesdays to Saturdays from 8am until 5pm (Closed Sundays-Mondays) 

  • Special opening times and holiday times will be announced on our social media pages

Important notice:  Smoking and pets/animals are not allowed in our premises due to building rules & regulations and strict health regulations. Furthermore, our premises features private legal offices and conference areas. There is one exterior table should you have a pet with you or if you are a smoker. Thank you for your understanding.
